Learn the workings of the 2 basic types of elevators and how they apply to RESCUE operations. Lecture includes Elevator mechanics and passenger extrication techniques. Practical includes display of elevator operations and actual techniques in passenger removal. Do not try to do this on your own.

Learn the basics of Search & Rescue then apply the Thermal imager. Learn what you’ve always wanted to know about the TIC & new upgrades. Participate in a hands-on demonstration of S&R and Thermal Imaging application in a live working fire scenario.

Train Emergencies Lifting procedures w/ CSX Emergency Responder

Large Area Rescue Group (L.A.R.G.) Search techniques

A 3-hour lecture followed by a 3-hour practical. This Power point presentation provides participants the ability to understand how to deploy search teams in structures of high square footage. Participants will learn how to apply search rope techniques, and proper tactics to operate safely in areas that can be overwhelming. Students will understand how to overcome overextending into structure along with SCBA and LARG search team management. This is an Operations level lecture and practical program.

This class helps answer the question of which company can better suit the needs of individual departments seeking to enhance their Special operations response. The history and creation of these companies to present day expectations of modern fire fighting tactics are discussed. Manpower, Tools and Apparatus requirements are paramount in creating specialized units in order to initiate the proper response to incidents dependant upon district demographics.

The Rescue Company; Special operations & Team concepts

This course that integrates lecture and practical evolutions in a 16-hour program. The lectures cover the basics of company personnel, tools and apparatus. Gradually the unit learns to works together as a team while learning the diversity of the Rescue Company. Practical application of the unit is interacted with the lecture through several scenarios. These scenarios include; Hydraulic, Pneumatic and Electrical tool application, Elevator extrication, Industrial incidents and Search techniques utilizing thermal imagers.
